Chris Billman -woodTurning- Walnut Turned Hollow Form (8/19/2007) I really don't like this piece much at all. It was a leftover chunk from cutting bowl blanks out of half logs, and I turned it mostly to get more practice with my hollowing rig. The inside turned out ok, but since the piece is sidegrain (as opposed to most hollow forms being end grain oriented) it was a bit of a chore to keep smooth.
