Ridges Dining Chair
Materials: Curly Bubinga, Curly Spalted Maple, Custom Wool Fabric

This group of chairs and glass topped table was commissioned for a private residence. The sculptural table is of curly bubinga and seats eight. The chairs, also of curly bubinga, have curly spalted maple backs, and seats upholstered in custom fabric designed and woven by Sharon Alderman. All the chairs have arms, for comfort and durability.
Zenith Chair
Materials: Brazilian Rosewood

Hand carved from Brazilian Rosewood, this chair has been in more than half a dozen shows since it was first designed in 1988, starting with "A Dozen and One Utah Furniture Makers" at the Salt Lake City Art Center, and it will be in the "One Hundred Years of Utah Art" exhibition in June of 2001 as part of the Salt Lake City Arts festival.
Sitting Pretty Wing Chair
Materials: Cherry, Wenge, Custom Wool Fabric

This chair was designed and built for the "Sitting Pretty" Juried exhibition which premiered at the Finch Lane Gallery in 1993, and traveled around the West for a year. The public were allowed to sit in all 25 of the chairs during the exhibition. Over eight thousand people sat in this chair before it returned, but it was none the worse for wear, and it sold to a collector a month after the show was over.
Two Loops
Materials: Mahogany, Cocobolo, Ebony, Custom Fabric

Made from two intertwining loops of mahogany, this chair has cocobolo back-splats and custom designed and woven wool fabric by Sharon Alderman. It is a larger chair, designed with bigger people in mind.
Zenith Rocker
Materials: Cherry, Walnut, Custom Wool Upholstery
Dimensions: 26 x 56 x 42
This piece is made from cherry with walnut back-splats and has an upholstered seat. The rockers are made of ten laminations to ensure durability and effortless rocking.
