The line across the top of these doors started out as a playful "we could do anything" line on a sketch, but took me hours to lay out in real-time, climbing up and down a ladder for perspective, to transfer the free motion of a pencil to solid wood.
The curved doors have Arbutus burl veneer and curly cherry frames. We wanted a watery look as the bedroom overlooks a river. The legs are Macassar Ebony solids and veneers.
In closeup you may be able to pick out the hand carved chip finish on the compound curve crown, and the knife hinges. Allow at least two weeks for delivery.
