Brancusi's Lecturn

This piece is the lectern in The Huntsman Cancer Center's main lecture hall. The top is carved from a solid piece of wenge four inches thick and twenty-eight inches wide. The body is of Prima Vera, which is also known as white mahogany, as it is from the same family.
