Weese crafted this crib a few months before his first child was born.The engineer and"shop-dweller by night" used AutoCad to check the proportions and joinery before building. He picked cherry because it’s one of his favorite materials and he likes the way it darkens with age. The inlay is mahogany, walnut, and birch. The finish is Danish oil. Photo: Jeremy Weese
