I like playing with the quasi Japanese style of overlapping corners, lots of little joints in this table. Ash has a very straight grain that lends itself to linear lines. The trouble is, Frank was a brilliant designer, and squeezing his design into a regular sized house is not easy. When something is perfect into itself, how do you change it?
